With more than two decades in media and entertainment — beginning as a child voice artist — he has worked across television, film, advertising, music videos, dubbing, animation, VFX, corporate productions and digital content for leading Sri Lankan networks including Sirasa TV, TV Derana, Hiru TV, ITN and TV Didula Kids Television, alongside international production experience in Dubai with Expo City Dubai and IMG Worlds of Adventure.

He holds an MA in UI/UX Design from Nuclio Digital School, Barcelona, a Diploma in Filmmaking from SAE Institute Dubai, and advanced training in After Effects VFX and Unreal Engine — expertise applied across projects including Nosithu Amathuma, Kirilli Man and a wide range of music videos, television productions, corporate films and animation, blending traditional filmmaking with virtual production, green-screen compositing and AI-assisted visual development.

Through SKY SRI WEB PRODUCTIONS, Lahiru brings together a creative network of filmmakers, designers, voice artists, editors, animators and VFX artists to deliver end-to-end media solutions — from concept and scripting through production, post-production, dubbing, subtitling, animation and digital content — built around storytelling, technology and visual innovation.
